Ike Davis isn't ready to run for office, but the Mets' rookie sensation launched a campaign from the heart on Tuesday.
Davis was in Times Square Tuesday at the Modell's Sporting Goods on 42nd St. to launch the new "I Like Ike" T-shirts. The T-shirts are blue and feature a button reading "I Like Ike" in reference to the slogan used by President Eisenhower. Davis, dressed in a gray shirt with a Rubik's Cube on it and jeans, took pictures and signed autographs for the small crowd in the store...

When Mike died, we asked for donations in lieu of flowers for Ewing’s Sarcoma research in his memory. We collected $12,000 from approximately 300 donors. It took us some time and research to find a worthy organization to donate the funds to – and once we found Liddy Shriver, we were asked by Bruce to do an event for International Sarcoma Awareness Week...

It was Michael Lio's kind of turnout Saturday night. Friends filled the spacious kitchen and front room of his parents' ranch-style home in northeast Phoenix. More friends were upstairs playing pool in the game room. His girlfriend, Samantha Cerny, greeted guests at the door...
